U19 WC: Corona havoc on Indian Under-19 team, six players including captain Yash Dhul got corona infected
Corona has affected Team India players competing in the Under-19 World Cup in the West Indies. Yash Dhul, the Indian Under-19 captain, and vice-captain SK Rashid have been injured by Corona. All three have been placed on the sidelines.
The BCCI has confirmed that players have been infected with Corona. In their second match of the World Cup, India struggled a lot to find the right playing 11. It was allowed for a team to have 17 players in its squad for the tournament by the International Cricket Council (ICC). For this reason, Team India was able to field 11 players.
Captain Dhul and Vice-Captain Rashid are the only two isolated, while Manav Parekh, Siddharth Yadav, Aaradhya Yadav and Vasu Vats are among the others. Coaches were sent to the field to give drinks to players because the situation was so bad.
