Republic Day 2022: ITBP jawans celebrated Republic Day in minus 40 degree temperature at an altitude of 15000 feet

Republic Day 2022: Jawans of the ITBP raised the tricolor at an altitude of 15 thousand feet and minus 35 degree temperatures in Ladakh.

India celebrates its 73rd Republic Republic Day 2022 today. The weather in North India is freezing cold, but that has not broken the spirits of our soldiers. On the snowy hills of Ladakh, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is also ready in minus 40 degrees.

Jawans of the ITBP raised the tricolor at an altitude of 15 thousand feet and minus 35 degree temperatures in Ladakh.

The ITBP has honored 18 jawans with the Police Medal

An Indian border force unit posted on the Indo-China border was rewarded for its bravery and bravery on the eve of Republic Day. A total of three jawans received the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, three jawans received the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service, and twelve jawans received the Jawan Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

The PMG award went to Assistant Commandant Ashok Kumar, Inspector Suresh Lal and Neela Singh. He stopped a Naxalite attack in Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon district in 2018. Several weapons were also seized. Meanwhile, Deputy Inspector Ajay Pal Singh, DIG Ramakant Sharma and GC Upadhyay were recognized for distinguished service.
