PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

Now all the farmers will not get the benefit of the scheme, know the new order

The 10th installment of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 10th installment) is likely to be deposited in the account of farmers on January 1, 2022. Till now 9 installments of the scheme have been deposited in the account of farmers. Before the 10th installment is transferred to the accounts of the farmers, the central government has taken an important decision. If you have also registered for this scheme, then it can be very useful for you.

The Additional Chief Secretary of the Agriculture Department has ordered all the DMs to delete the data of the dead farmers. According to which, under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a revised manifesto will also be taken from the beneficiary farmers along with the application form. This decision has been taken to check fraud. At the same time, the names of the deceased farmers will also be removed from the list of beneficiaries of the scheme. However, crores of farmers are waiting for the 10th installment.

Only these farmers will be eligible after February 2021

Under the scheme, the central government directly transfers Rs 6,000 annually to the farmers in their bank accounts as financial assistance. After the corona transition, the government has now decided to change some of the rules of this scheme. According to media reports, Additional Chief Secretary of Agriculture Department Dr. Devesh Chaturvedi issued orders to DM, Agriculture Director and Deputy Agriculture Directors. It is clear from the guidelines of the scheme that after February 1, 2021, only those farmers who have become farmers on the basis of inheritance will get the benefit of this scheme.

The benefit of the scheme will not be available in the name of the deceased farmers

According to the Additional Chief Secretary, in the new online applications that are being received for this scheme, most of the beneficiary farmers are those who have become farmers on the basis of inheritance after the start of the scheme. Those who have become new farmers on the basis of heritage, it is necessary to get them verified. All the next installments of those deceased farmers will be stopped. Along with this, their data will also be deleted. That is, now the benefit of the scheme cannot be taken in the name of the deceased farmers.

This rule will be applicable in verification

According to the instructions of the Chief Secretary, it will also be checked at the time of verification whether the applicants have inherited agricultural land or they have become farmers after the start of the scheme. If the applicant’s father was the beneficiary of the scheme, then the details of his PM Kisan ID and Aadhaar number will have to be given. Only after that the applicant will be able to get the benefit of the scheme.
