Odell Beckham Jr. signs with the Bills? That’s what the star wide receiver thought when he awoke

There is an open roster spot for the Buffalo Bills, but Odell Beckham Jr. has not been signed.

There are also fake accounts of popular websites and news breaking accounts on social media today. An example would be a fake Bleacher Report (B/R) account that made Odell Beckham Jr., also known as OBJ, think he had joined the Bills.

An account posing as Bleacher Report tweeted the receiver had joined the Bills, and the Photoshop certainly looked like something B/R would use.

However, if you look closely, you can see that the user name has a ‘t’ in it. Beckham Jr. woke up to numerous notifications and asked how much he signed for with Buffalo despite it being a fake account. He even gave a shout out to Von Miller, his former Los Angeles teammate.

The Los Angeles Rams used OBJ in eight regular season games last year and he scored five touchdowns. It was when the games mattered most that the receiver shifted into an even higher gear.

In the Rams’ 20-17 victory over the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, Beckham Jr. caught nine passes for 113 yards. Despite catching two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown, he left the game against the Bengals with about four minutes left in the first half after suffering a non-contact knee injury. A 23-20 victory was achieved despite Los Angeles’ offense sputtering after losing OBJ.

Odell Beckham Jr. recently stated that despite appearing to have torn his ACL in the Super Bowl, he played “the whole second half of the season without it.”

Odell Beckham Jr. is not expected to be ready to play until November or December, regardless of when the injury occurred. It is for this reason that he remains a free agent. If Buffalo needs another playmaker for a Super Bowl push, perhaps OBJ will reunite with Von Miller.
