There were tremors felt throughout Delhi-NCR and Noida in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. As soon as they felt the tremors, people rushed out of their homes.
In Delhi-NCR, people felt a tremor in the earth for 15 to 20 seconds. Jammu and Kashmir also experienced very strong earthquake tremors at the same time. The earthquake also caused tremors in Noida. Kashmir Valley residents were also affected by the earthquake’s tremors. Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush was the epicenter of the earthquake.
There has been no loss of life or property reported as of yet. The National Center for Seismology reports that an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 struck the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region today at 9:45 a.m.
