Karnataka: Dead body of former found hanging, police engaged in investigation.
The High Grounds Police have yet to confirm suicide in this case. Currently, the body is being post-mortemed to find out the cause of death. Additional investigations are being conducted.
The body of Soundarya, granddaughter of former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, was found hanging from a noose at her house on Friday. His granddaughter’s body was found at his Bengaluru residence, according to police. Suicide has not yet been confirmed. The moment his body was found hanging on the noose, he was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. There will be a post-mortem on the body, based on the information.

Soundarya was in depression for many days
She is a doctor by profession and is the granddaughter of BS Yediyurappa. Soundarya lived in a flat in central Bangalore with her four-month-old baby. She has been suffering from depression for several days.
Threat of suicide
It has been feared that Soundarya, who is the daughter of BS Yediyurappa’s elder daughter Padmavati (BY Padmavati), may have committed suicide. In 2019, Soundarya got married to Dr. Neeraj. Police are investigating.
