JEE Main 2022 Dates: NTA gave candidates a big blow by announcing that JEE Main 2022 will be held in two phases.

JEE Main 2022 Announced: The National Testing Agency NTA has clarified that this year’s JEE Main 2022 exam for admission to engineering courses will be conducted in two phases.

On Tuesday, March 01, 2022, NTA announced that this year’s JEE Main exam for admission to engineering courses will be conducted in two phases. Candidates will have two chances to improve their score, if they are not able to give their best on the first attempt, they can prepare better in the second attempt.

You will not be given a second chance if you fail the paper.

The NTA has also dealt a major blow to the candidates. If a candidate misses the JEE Main entrance exam due to factors beyond his/her control, such as a board exam, he/she will have to wait for a full year. Therefore, if a candidate misses the exam this year, he will not be given a second chance.

It is not necessary to take both stage exams

Moreover, the National Testing Agency has clarified that candidates need not appear in both phases of the examination. They can take any stage of the test. They will be able to improve their score if they participate in both stages. JEE Main 2022 candidates can also take any one stage of the exam, according to their schedule for board exams.

In JEE Main, there will be two papers

In the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main, there will be two papers. JEE Main Paper-1 will be conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs BE/B.Tech at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), and Central Universities and State Government funded/recognized institutions. Paper-2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B.Sc. Architecture courses are offered by Architectural Engineering Institutes across the country. Students will be admitted to IITs based on their scores in the JEE Advanced exam.

Admission will also be available in these institutes

From 2021 onwards, AKTU Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and Madan Mohan Malaviya Technical University in Gorakhpur will also enroll students in engineering courses on the basis of JEE Main Exam 2022 scores.
