Jio and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) announced this week that their tariff plans will now be autopay with UPI. NPCI has actually partnered with Jio, after which this service will now be available to its users. Activating Auto Pay and taking advantage of this service is now easy for users.
Jio customers can use UPI AUTOPAY on the MyJio app to set up standing instructions for a hassle-free recharge experience with UPI AUTOPAY. With this service, Jio has become the first telecom company to provide this service. As a result of this service, users will be able to recharge it as soon as their plan expires without even being aware of it.
According to the company’s release, users will not even need to enter their UPI PIN for recharges above Rs 5,000. The UPI AUTOPAY tariff plans will be able to be easily modified through e-mandates.
“We are confident that our association will enhance the experience of Jio customers renewing their mobile tariff plans,” said Kunal Kalavatia, Chief of Products, NPCI. At NPCI, we are continually striving to provide our customers with more comfort and convenience for their recurring expenses and payments by offering UPI AUTOPAY.
As a result, the customers of the company no longer have to worry about remembering to recharge their phones because now the phones are automatically recharged. I am sure you have experienced it too many times when you have forgotten the date of recharge and your incoming outgoing service stops, so if you are busy with some urgent work then this can become a problem. With the new service, users can now easily set their phone for automatic recharge without remembering the date.
