Gautam Adani: Gautam Adani became the richest person in the country

Gautam Adani: Gautam Adani became the richest person in the country, left behind Mukesh Ambani, 11th in the world.

The title of richest person in the country has moved from Mukesh Ambani to Gautam Adani, the head of the Adani Group.

The stock market has fallen for the last few days, benefitting Gautam Adani. Due to a steep fall in Reliance shares, Gautam Adani overtook Mukesh Ambani in terms of earnings on Tuesday and became the country’s richest person.

Gautam Adani has become the richest person in Asia and India by market cap. Shares of the Adani Group have recovered sharply in recent months. As a result, shares of Reliance are under pressure since Saudi Aramco cancelled its deal with the company.

According to Forbes, Adani’s assets are currently estimated to be around Rs 6.72 lakh crores. At the same time, Mukesh Ambani’s assets total Rs 6.71 lakh crore. In addition to this, Gautam Adani is the 11th richest person on the planet.

The data shows that Adani’s assets were Rs 5.82 lakh crore as of 31 December 2021. This figure increased to Rs 6.95 lakh crore on January 18. Accordingly, the total assets of Adani are expected to grow by more than Rs 6000 crores daily by 2022.

Reliance shares under pressure

Reliance’s shares are under pressure after the Saudi Aramco deal fell through. The stock of Reliance was doing well until midday today, but then it fell sharply in the last hour.

As of Tuesday’s market close on the previous day, Gautam Adani’s group was valued at $ 88.8 billion. Reliance was valued at $ 91 billion. Gautam Adani has surpassed Mukesh Ambani in the shares of the Adani Group, especially Adani Ports and Adani Enterprises.
