Omicron variant found in 8891 new cases within 24 hours
There have been 8891 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours with the new and more infectious variant of Coronavirus, Omicron. The number of infections from the Omicron variant increased by 8.31 percent from the day before. India has been affected by the outbreak of Omicron, which has now spread to every state in the country.
The Omicron variant has infected 63 people in Kerala
Kerala has reported 63 new cases of Omicron infection. The total number of Omicron cases in the state now stands at 591. Four of the new patients are from Tamil Nadu, but have come from various countries to Kerala. Thirty-six are from low-risk countries and nine from high-risk countries. People who have been in contact with them have become infected.
