Rahul Gandhi is also reported to have written a letter to Twitter about this issue, claiming that Twitter is working under the pressure of the Modi government. Rahul Gandhi has written to Twitter on 27 December 2021 in which he also shares the data of the Twitter account where comparisons are being made with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor. Twitter has now responded to this letter.
Twitter cited spam
In response to Rahul Gandhi’s letter, Twitter has said that we also want the number of followers to appear with the account, but we believe that the followers should be genuine. We do not tolerate manipulation and spam on Twitter. Machine learning tools are used to remove bot followers and spam every week. This may lead to a decrease in followers.
In August 2021, Rahul Gandhi’s number of followers decreased by 54,803; in September, it decreased by 1,327; in October, it decreased by 2,380; and in November, it decreased by 2,788. There has been an increase in the number of followers of PM Modi, who number about 30 lakhs. Rahul Gandhi said there is an attempt to suppress my voice on Twitter. Rahul Gandhi currently has 19.6 million followers.
