PM Modi to inaugurate 22 developmental projects in Manipur; Nadda says Opp divides people on religion in UP

Assembly Elections 2022 Live Updates: The prime minister of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several development projects worth Rs 4,800 crore in Manipur, which goes to the polls next month. In addition to laying the foundation stone for 5 National Highway projects, Modi dedicated 2,387 mobile towers to Manipur.

JP Nadda, BJP president, said on Monday that while the BJP brings people together, Opposition parties in UP divide people based on religion. Nadda told a poll rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Basti that the BJP is uniting the country’s people, while the opposition tries to divide them. We told everyone, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Efforts. They divided people by religion and even brought in Jinnah.

Navjot Singh Sidhu, the Congress chief in Punjab, attempted to outdo AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in Punjab by promising Rs 2,000 per month for women homemakers if his party returns to power. Homemakers will also receive eight free cooking gas cylinders every year, according to Sidhu.

The assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Manipur, and Uttarakhand will be held between February and March 2022. Both the BJP and the Opposition, particularly the Congress, see Uttar Pradesh as a key state. In UP and Punjab, the outcome will also show how the farmers’ unrest affects the state.
