Agnipathvayu: Firefighters are being recruited in the Air Force, registration is open until July 5, and the Navy’s online recruitment window will open today.
A candidate for Agniveer Vayu must be between the ages of 17 and 26. Passed 12th grade with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized board.
The Air Force started the recruitment process for Agniveers on Friday, amid protests across the country. This information was tweeted by the Air Force on Friday. Candidates eligible to register may do so until 5 pm on July 5 via agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The exam will take place on July 24. You must register online only for this exam. Additionally, the Navy will open its online application window on Saturday.
Minimum 50% marks required in 12th
Agniveer Vayu candidates should be between 17 and a half years and 23 years of age. A 12th grader with Mathematics, Physics, and English as subjects must have passed a recognized board. Non-science subjects require a 12th grade pass from a recognized board with 50% in English and a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
Those who have completed three years of diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, automobile, computer science, instrumentation technology, or information technology along with two years of vocational training are also eligible for Agniveer Vayu.

Recruiting Indian Airforce Agniveer TODs for 2022 – Educational Qualifications
For Science Subject:
- Minimum 50% in Mathematics, Physics, and English, along with 50% in English, in the 10+2 Intermediate. OR
- Candidates who have completed a 3-year diploma program in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, electronic, automotive, computer science, instrumentation technology, or information technology, with a minimum score of 50% in English and overall.
- The candidate must have completed a two-year vocational program in Mathematics and Physics from a board of education with a 50 percent aggregate score and a 50 percent English score.
For Subjects Other Than Science:
- Applicants who have completed the 10+2 Intermediate with a minimum of 50% overall and 50% in English. or
- Candidates who have completed a two-year vocational course and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% and English proficiency.

- Height: 152.5 cm
- Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cms
- The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) involves running 1.6 kilometers (km) in 6 minutes, 30 seconds. Candidates must also perform at least 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the allotted time to qualify for the physical fitness test.
